Yay Spam
I have to say, this is one of the best fake/spam guestbook entries I've got. I just find the pretense of trying to class-up and mask the ad by claiming to be researching for a degree to be hilarious.

I've noticed a few spam members at GameFAQs recently. Wonder if this sort of advertising is going to become more popular? :/

It is. I activated the "type in these numbers" feature on the FEFactory forums when people register because I was getting a lot of bots spamming random links.

Just to clarify, this isn't from a forum or from LJ, but from the guestbook over at my homepage. Even though the guestbook has been up for several years, I haven't really had spam (bots) tag it until the last month or so, during which time I've gotten a TON of them. The guestbook host does a good job of identifying the spam/ad entries and deleting them fairly quickly, but it's been bad lately, and the last 7 or so entries are all ad spams.

I hope these get made illegal. It's total bullshit.
